Whether it’s the delicate whisper of acacia or the bold citrus notes of orange blossom, each Mielizia honey is a testament to Italian craftsmanship and nature’s bounty.
Organic Bee Pollen
- Pollen is a gift from the flowers. It is the apiculture by-product with the most balanced composition and is very rich in useful substances for our body, like minerals, vitamins, enzymes, proteins. In view of the indispensable nutrients it contains, many people consider pollen to be a complete food. It is a food equal to bee fillet or cod fillet.
- Ideal for teas and infusions, yogurt and ice-cream.
- On the market pollen is generally dehydrated, although fresh pollen is gradually becoming popular.
Organic citrus honey
- Crystallized, very clear, varying from white to straw yellow through to light beige.
- Ideal for yogurt, fish filet o scamorza cheese.
- Oral, fruity with a fresh scent of orange blossom.
- Fruity and pleasantly acid.
- It is harvested in Southern Italy and the islands, in Spring time.
Organic Acacia Honey
- Liquid, clear and transparent.
- Ideal for caffè, hot tea, cold drink, mozzarella e gorgonzola cheese, fresh fruit salad.
- Delicate and refined. It remembers of vanilla ponds.
- Mild, delicate, appealing. It is sweet and silky. The aftertaste adds a fresh overtone of sweet almond.
- It is collected during the Spring, in particular in the acacia woods of the Pre-Alps, but it can be found in other regions of the Italian peninsula too.
Organic Forest Honey
- Liquid and slightly viscous, amber-colored, very dark with dull tinges shifting from red to brown.
- Ideal for pancakes, black tea, vegetables.
- The aroma is intense and remembers of caramel and stewed fruit. It is not very sweet and quite persistent and its texture is silky.
- It is the only honey that does not derive from blossom nectar, however it is excreted by plant-sucking insects such as aphids.
- Our forest honey is harvested in summer, in the forest areas of various regions, from northern to southern Italy: Piedmont, Emilia Romagna and Abruzzo.
Organic Wildflower Honey
- Generally crystallized, generally amber-colored, the color varies from pale milky white to deep gold with tones of orange.
- Ideal for chicken, hot milk, squacquerone cheese.
- Intriguing, the aroma goes from flowery overtones to candied fruit.
- Sweet, fruity and flowery.
- During Spring and Summer time, especially in the hills of the Appennines.
Organic Honey with Bee Pollen and Royal Jelly
-
This is an energy product and a recipe inspired by honey as it was used by our ancestors. A 250g jar contains a perfect mix of three Italian, organic hive products, directly from our supply chain: honey, pollen and fresh royal jelly. Italian organic essential lemon oil is added to give a note of freshness to the preparation.
We call this preparation Honey+ because it is:
+ ENERGETIC
+ PROTEIN
+ RICH - Ideal for: teas and infusion yogurt and alone as a natural reserve of energy.
