Royal jelly is a substance produced by nurse bees: found in the queen cells, it’s used to feed the larvae destined to become queens. They’re the only bees that eat only this product throughout their lives, even after they reach adulthood.
Thanks partly to this wonderful food’s special composition, the Queen Bee is the only fertile female, is larger in size and lives for up to 3-5 years, compared to about 40-50 days for the other bees in the family.
Its composition is quite unusual and unique, consisting of a combination of fats, sugars, proteins and vitamins in a 66% water base, a fantastic source of enzymatic substances that act as biocatalysts, stimulating and increasing the functioning of the cellular metabolism. It’s extremely rich in vitamin B5! Royal jelly is usually taken in cycles, generally during changes of season, at doses from 0.3 to 0.5 grams per day. To conserve all its properties royal jelly must be consumed fresh and it must be refrigerated immediately after collection and then stored in an unbroken cold chain. Our royal jelly is fresh, organic and Italian, collected by our own member beekeepers to ensure a short supply chain.

Beekeepers
We work alongside and care for our bees, creating the best conditions for their welfare. We were among the first in Italy to adopt organic production techniques, and are currently the leading European producers of organic honey. Our organisation now comprises more than 600 beekeepers, united by our passion for bees and Italian honey. We protect the wellbeing of more than 5 billion bees and provide pollination for a vast area of Italy.
