The honey supply chain

As nature demands

Where honey comes from

Honey is a natural product of plant origin: it’s the food that bees produce from flower nectar and for thousands of years it was the only available source of concentrated sugar. Honey is composed of approximately 18% water and, in addition to mineral salts, vitamins and enzymes, it contains over 80% sugars, mainly fructose and glucose. Honey is a natural product that doesn’t need any chemical processes or the addition of any other substances before it can be consumed and, unlike other sugars, its simple structure makes it a highly digestible foodstuff that provides the human body with readily available energy.

From flower to jar

As Italy’s leading honey supply chain, with more than 600 beekeepers and 100,000 hives, we safeguard more than 5 billion bees, nurture the biodiversity of our land and guarantee delicious, traced, high quality products. We believe in what we do and promote an alternative approach to nutrition and lifestyles, which looks to the future and safeguards the environment and bees.

Products

They originate from a gentle production process that conserves their original organoleptic and nutritional properties, just as nature intended, so the end products have all the typical fragrances and flavours of each area of origin.
